Chamber Container
The two outer container doors open to expose a fully framed wall allowing access to either the mechanical/electrical room via service door, divers umbilical connection panel or entry inside the container by a full sized door with a large window. The inside of this container is finished with RFP walls and ceiling, industrial grade carpeting and a sliding window for additional ventilation and emergence egress. The primary function of this container is to provide a quiet and comfortable location for the dive/video control system and chamber operations. The container consists of the following components and safety items:
Decompression Chamber
- 24 foot ex-Matson Transportation insulated shipping container
- 54” double-lock decompression chamber built to ANSI-ASME/PVHO-1 Safety Standards, ADC Standards, OSHA 29CFR-1910 & USCG 46CFR-197 by an ISO-9001 Quality Certified Fabricator (1998).
- Chamber is current on all certifications
- Amron Chamber Communicator- A/C & Gel-Cell battery powered radio w/ full featured two lock system
- 2 paging speakers mounted inside
- 3 sound powered phones
- 2 duel stopwatch/timer units
- 2 each Scott Pressur-Vak bib masks (inner lock)
- 1 each Scott 801238 Series bib mask (outer lock)
- ANALOX Mini-02 analyzer/monitor & Visi-Float Flowmeter mounted on control panel and plumbed directly into chamber
- 2 each 6” 0-225fsw .5 % accuracy depth gauges
- Extra heavy brass plumbing and valves
- Air and oxygen supply pressure gauges
- Independent primary and emergence flow valves
- Inside silencers on all supply and exhaust piping
- Outside container dump on all air & oxygen exhaust
- Amron model 240 Chamber Fire Extinguisher (inner lock)
- 1 ABC Kiddy external fire extinguisher
- 2 each low watt outside chamber lights

Dive Control System
- Complete dive control panel consisting of 2 each 8.5” diver pneumo gauges/valving, divers primary air supplied gauges/valving, divers supplied out pressure gauges/valving, emergence air pressure gauge/valving, divers stopwatch/timers and Amron 2 diver rack mounted A/C & Gel-Cell battery powered radio.
- 13 inch color monitor w/ built in VHS recording deck and remote for real time viewing and recording
- 8 mm recording deck
- Variable Light Controller
- Wall mounted VHF/Hailer Radio w/ external antenna & connection
- Wall mounted high watt cell phone w/ external antenna & connection
- Work station w/ chair and pull out keyboard tray
- 1 lot VHS recording tapes
- 1 lot (20 plus) HI-8 recording tapes
High Pressure Oxygen System
- 4 each 281 cu. ft. @ 2250 psi D.O.T. approved pressure cylinders mounted to brackets on far wall.
- Oxygen manifold block w/ complete bleeder valves, gauges, stainless steel pigtails, Tescom self-venting regulator and oxygen whip connected directly to chamber.
High Pressure Air System
- 4 each 444 cu. ft. @ 4500 psi D.O.T approved pressure cylinders mounted next to oxygen system on back wall.
- Flexible pigtails, gauges, bleeder valves, Tescom self-venting regulator and air whip connected directly to chamber and Dive Control System.
